Longleat Safari & Adventure Park has been one of the UK’s best-loved attractions for over 60 years. It features an extensive Safari Park which is home to BBC Animal Park.
The UK’s no. 1 Safari Park first opened to the public in 1966; the first of its kind outside Africa. Since then the safari park has continued to grow and now features a huge selection of animals including Rhinoceros, African Game, Lion prides, Wolf packs, Tigers, Cheetahs, Monkeys and Deer.
Over the years Longleat has grown to incorporate a whole range of fun-packed family attractions. Longleat House is widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and is one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public.
The Festival of Light: Europe’s largest ever display of Chinese lanterns will once again transform Longleat into a glowing winter wonderland, with thousands of new lanterns. This year’s festival combines wildlife scenes and spectacular oriental lanterns, including a traditional Chinese Dragon Boat and the iconic Terracotta Army.
There is also a traditional Chinese market, Ice Rink, fairy tale characters and Santa train for the whole family to enjoy – please note some attractions may be at an additional cost see website for video and further details www.longleat.co.uk/festivaloflightMore Information Book Today!
